School Calendar
The entire school year is already available on the new calendar, so you can plan as far ahead as you'd like. From school closings and holidays to events, activities, important deadlines, and special programs, you'll always have the most up-to-date information in one convenient place. Be sure to bookmark the page. It's the easiest way to stay informed all year long.

Required Forms
Two important forms must be completed before the first day of school:

Incoming Kindergarten Students:
All incoming Kindergarten students must submit the required health assessment form and updated immunization records by August 31.
7th Grade Students:
All 7th grade students must provide updated immunization records by August 31.
Please make sure all required documents are submitted by the deadline to ensure your child’s records are up to date for the upcoming school year.
Stay Connected with Procare
We use the Procare app as our main way to communicate with families.
What to know:
New families should’ve received an invite; Contact us if not.
Enable push notifications to stay in the loop.
Teachers will check Procare during the day, but won’t respond during instruction unless needed.
Submit any transportation changes in Procare by 1:30 PM.
Safety, Arrival & Campus Access
At Opendoor School, safety is our top priority - from the moment you arrive on campus to the final bell. Please review the guidelines below to ensure a smooth and secure process for all students and families.
Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
Morning Drop-Off | 7:45–7:59AM
Afternoon Pick-Up | 2:45–3:00PM
Use the car line only — no walk-ups unless you're signing your tardy student in at the front office.
K–2 families may walk children to class during the first week only
Students must enter and exit from the passenger side only
Always use the designated crosswalk — do not walk between vehicles
Your car tag must be clearly visible to keep the line moving
Please do not drop off your child unless a staff member is present
If you're late, walk them into the Front Office to sign in
Car line has changed this year and will be separated by elementary and middle/high school buildings. If you have students in both buildings you will drop off and pick up your older student with your elementary student.

Early Bird Drop-Off | 7:00–7:40AM
Grades K–5: Kids lobby in the elementary building
Grades 6–9: Cafeteria
Parents must walk students inside and check them in
After that, all arrivals should go through the car line or Early Bird check-in
Afterschool Pick-Up | 3:00-6:00pm
All students are picked up at the Kids Lobby
Bring photo ID for verification
Meals, Billing & Campus Access
Hot Lunch Program
Hot lunch service begins Monday, September 14
Fill out the Hot Lunch Order Form for each student you want to enroll.
