At Opendoor School in Winterville, NC, the elementary years are where learning, faith, and character take root. Our K–8 program is designed to develop the whole child through strong academics and Christ-centered teaching.

Assessment
Students in grades three through eight complete a nationally standardized assessment as required by the North Carolina Department of Non-Public Education. Opendoor School administers the Iowa Test to measure progress and support continued growth.

After School Hours
Monday-Friday | 2:30 - 6:00pm
Includes all early release days and teacher workdays, but does not include Opendoor Summer Camp.
Optional Hot Lunch | Monday-Friday
Pricing and meal choices are given at the beginning of each school year. Parents will be drafted along with tuition based on their selected plan. -

Application Fee | $30 required at the time of application.
Registration Fee | $50 required at time of enrollment for each student who enrolls in Opendoor Education.
Hot Lunch Fee (Optional) | Opendoor School offers a weekly hot lunch Monday-Friday. The cost is $8.00 per meal. Meal choices are given at the beginning of the year. Parents will be drafted along with tuition according to their yearly sign-up meal plan. If students choose not to participate in the hot lunch option, they must bring a bagged lunch.
Athletics Fee | $150 per sport and includes practice jersey and uniform (returned at end of season).
